Vision Edina, the City’s strategic planning document, showed overwhelming community support for our environment. As the City implements this strategy, we turn to our business community partners to participate in efforts to protect our environment for the next generation.
 
Three current activities directly involve our Edina businesses: Large Building Benchmarking, Solid Waste Reduction, and a Green Business Recognition Program.
 
Carolyn Jackson, Chair of the City of Edina Energy and Environment Commission will speak about large building benchmarking; Michelle Horan, chair of the EEC’s Business Environment Working Group will speak about our Green Business Recognition Program, and Andre Xiong from Hennepin County will speak about the County’s new solid waste regulation and programs.
