The Changing Face of the Southdale District

One of the most exciting areas of change in Edina is the Southdale District, which runs from Hwy 62 to Hwy 494 all along France and York Avenues. While many new projects have been completed over the last two years, the majority of the change hasn’t even begun yet. Please join us and hear more about the major changes coming to the Southdale district, including the brand new Life Time Fitness center. 

Matt Brinza, Vice President Architecture & Engineering at Life Time Fitness, will share details of the Life Time Fitness plan, which includes 120,000 square feet fitness center with luxury hotel-like services, indoor sports courts and a collaborative workspace.
 

City of Edina Economic Development Manager Bill Neuendorf will tell us about the redevelopment projects in the pipeline for 2018-19, and Colleen Wolfe, Co-Chair of the Greater Southdale Area Small Area Plan Workgroup, will tell us about the work of the City Council supported workgroup.
