Edina Economic Development Committee Meeting

Edina is a hotbed of economic activity and redevelopment. Over the last several years members have requested updates on all of the projects. Attending the new Economic Development Committee is your opportunity to get in on the news as its happening. If you are in retail, real estate, banking, health and wellness, repairs, just about any field; knowing about these projects in advance will give you a step up on your marketing efforts.
 
The Economic Development Committee’s purpose is to further the economic stability and growth of the city of Edina.  This committee encourages and guides economic development in the city of Edina through advocacy and program development, support for existing businesses and recruitment of new businesses. Each month a developer will be invited to join us to share the details of their upcoming project and answer any questions. This group will also provide recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors and the City Council in regard to feedback on specific projects.
 
The first meeting of the committee will be Monday, January at 9am at Hellmuth & Johnson. During this time we’ll talk about the purpose and goals of this committee, discuss meeting ideas and decide on a regular monthly meeting time.
