71 France is a new mixed-use project on the existing Byerly’s store at the intersection of France Avenue and Hazelton Avenue in Edina. Lund Food Holdings opened their new Byerly’s store in October 2014. Schafer Richardson is the housing developer and is constructing three apartment buildings. The first residential building features 109 market rate apartments ranging from studio to two-bedroom plus den loft units.  This building will house the community amenities including a club room, fitness room, outdoor pool with sundeck, pet grooming area, outdoor terrace with firepit and grilling area, art gallery and access to the Promenade and Centennial Lakes. The second building with 72 units and 10,450 square feet of retail space will open in January 2016, while the third and final building with 60 units and 10,500 square feet of retail space will open in Spring 2016.
